The Village of Oregon, in collaboration with the Oregon Police Department and the Oregon School District, is excited to announce the launch of the Safety Series, a new initiative under the Village Board Public Outreach Program (VBPOP). This series of community informational sessions aims to foster open conversations and collaboration on safety efforts and address community concerns.
Elected officials, and staff members from the Oregon Police Department, and Oregon School District will be present at each session to listen to community input, answer questions, and share information about current safety initiatives. This is a valuable opportunity for residents to actively participate in shaping the safety of the community. The Village Board, the Oregon Police Department, and the Oregon School District encourage all interested community members to attend the sessions that best suit their needs.
This session is open to all residents of the Village of Oregon and provides a general forum for discussing broader community safety issues. Residents are encouraged to bring their questions, concerns, and suggestions for enhancing safety throughout the Village.
Already have a question or can't attend any of the sessions? Submit your questions here! A full Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) document will be published after the event.
