Program Description

November is National Novel Writing Month. Are you interested in writing stories for tween and teen readers? Or are you a tween or teen writer (ages 9-17) eager to improve your storytelling skills? In this workshop, John Krause will guide you through the essentials of creating memorable characters, plots, and themes that resonate with young readers. We’ll explore how to craft stories that tackle complex themes such as self-identity, social issues, and first love—key areas that captivate and inspire tweens and teens. Join us to unlock the secrets of writing stories that engage and connect with young audiences on a deeper level.

Attendees will receive a free bookmark.

Following the discussion, there will be the opportunity to purchase the author's books. Paperbacks are $10 each, or $27 for all three. Cash, Check, Card, or Venmo.
