An online and in-person learning event for adults. Register for email reminders or to participate online.
Life as a Prayer is the story of Marggie Hatala Moertl's spiritual transformation during her many years as a hospice nurse. Using her daily spiritual practice of meditative journaling, she reflects honestly on the many authentic life lessons that the dying and their loved ones demonstrated. Life as a Prayer is an invitation into a deep inner awareness developed through meditation and journaling and includes writing prompts.
In this author talk, Marggie will share some of her favorite meditative and journaling practices and share lessons she has learned from those who lived life to the fullest.
After the author talk, buy a copy of Life as a Prayer for $15 cash or check.
The program is made possible through funding from the Friends of the Oregon Library.
