Program Description

Connect and Reflect with the Oregon Area Historical Society and PBS Wisconsin for America’s 250th Anniversary! The Oregon Area Historical Society and the Oregon Public Library is partnering with PBS Wisconsin to bring our community together to connect and reflect on our shared history and the future of democracy.

Please join us on Saturday, June 6 at 12:30pm for a two-hour America@250 Community Conversation, which includes mingling, a facilitated discussion, and viewing of clips from The American Revolution, a six-part PBS documentary series directed by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, and David Schmidt. America@250 Community Conversations are structured, small-group discussions designed to help you get to know others in your community, to listen to and consider their perspectives, and reflect on how these align with or differ from your own. Find more ways to learn, connect, and reflect with PBS Wisconsin during America’s 250th Anniversary at pbswisconsin.org/a250.
