Join us for an overview of traits you can use to identify birds in your own backyard. This interactive presentation will review the basics of birding and then teach participants how to use binoculars while practicing bird identification outside of your location.
About the Presenter: Angela Rivera
Angela has been in environmental education for 17 years. She has a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and master's degree in Environmental Conservation from the University of Wisconsin Madison. She loves to work at Lussier Family Heritage Center because it marries her passion for the environment to her education background.
The program is made possible through funding from the Friends of the Oregon Library.
