Program Description

What if your clothes were easier to wear?

About 16% of the U.S. population have a physical disability--many of which have trouble doing something we all do every morning, get dressed. Learn about adaptive clothing from Hilary Pham, the founder of Equability. This Madison based company customizes your clothing using magnets, velcro, and snap buttons to make them easier to get dressed. In this program, we'll also discuss other assistive technology and tools to help with independent living tasks.

About Hilary:
Hilary Pham is the Founder and CEO of Equability. She has a master’s in Information Management and uses her systems thinking skills to conduct interviews, understand user needs, and manage the company. Hilary is passionate about helping others and was inspired to create Equability after seeing her mother, Chi, struggle with her clothes and daily tasks because of arthritis and carpal tunnel.
